The thesis of this book is that the Grail is related to an astronomical phenomenon mystically connected to the genesis of life on Earth – and for this reason it is called Holy. Fully understanding this particular Grail secret is very significant for understanding the medieval clerical antipathy toward astronomy in particular. In fact this is the most compelling explanation of why the Medieval Church condemned a sun-centered cosmology as a heresy. You could never demonstrate the Grail secret as long as it was illegal, and punished with death, to depict the planets in orbit around the sun. Rather than the Grail being some physical artifact to be found and placed in a museum or lost forever, the Grail is eternal and accessible to all the people in the world.
